Our sweet Giselle turned 5! This called for a big party! So we got her cake from someone much more talented than me! We planned it for the weekend that Grandma and Grandpa Levendusky were here visiting, and we threw our princess her party!
Claire Paladin, Tessa Miller-Lynch, Giselle, Addie Card, and Beatrice Dunphey
We made crowns for the princesses, played princesses games, served the delectable Pizza of Sergi's, and the cake and sparkling pink beverage were served on gold gilded plates and glasses.
There were games of "pin the jewel on the tiara"
There was "Frozen Dance", and these princesses showed their best moves!
Elena (of course) led the game of finding the Princess' missing slipper.
It was so fun to decorate and celebrate our little girl.
Giselle is the most introverted and shy of our children. She is as cute as she is sweet, but behind that quiet and shy smile is a very determined and opinionated little lady. She tends to withdraw from groups rather quickly and play by herself, so the fact that she had such a list of little friends to join her was a delight to my heart.
She was born in such a tumultuous time of our lives. Ben was working nights, the future was uncertain. We had taken a step in obedience and we still didn't know where our foot was going to land. Her middle name is Grace. Grace was God's gift to us as we walked through that season. Now, grace seems to be His gift as we figure out how to not let this little quiet soul slip through the cracks of every day life. She is easy. She doesn't need much to get distracted and entertained and enjoys her time alone so much, we can easily forget that she needs direction and instruction.
She loves her baby siblings, and her big sisters, and Benny is her special buddy. She could play with Benny for hours un-end. They laugh, they fight, they do silly together (really well) and they are the perfect partners in crime... she is the mastermind! Haha!
We are so very thankful for those smiling eyes!
