After all the excitement of the previous day, we took the next day to rest at the house. We were planning another day in the city the following day, so we stayed at home. We took an afternoon walk for an early dinner at a special hamburger joint. You know, one of those “hole in the wall” type of place with amazing food and it certainly did not disappoint!
Drinks were something else. When you can’t trust the water, you learn to identify reliable ice and let the kids have soda everywhere you go. Ha! Ben and I would normally opt for a more traditional rice beverage called “horchata” or an orangeade with soda water.
Do not be deceived by the seemingly peaceful pictures. We did not picture the glass we broke, or the meltdowns had at incorrect hamburger orders and the like!
They amazingly got some of our orders wrong, and we were the only customers at that time!
This was the last picture before the food arrived. The camera was then put away.
By the time we left the restaurant, it was already dark out.
Our walk back home.
Picture stop on our road. Leo’s face, though!
